So apt a song today. Heard it over the RX Riot. Nonetheless. Always been a favorite. Gwen Stefani simply is Gwen Stefani. And this song. Will always bring about good memories. Not that I am going emo now. I know I sound like I am on the verge of it. Hahaha.

The Jumpsuit Apparatus

I have always loved dressing up. Well, who doesn't?

Every little girl could have actually made her night blanket turn into gown or whatsoever during her playtime weekends.

I'd like to actually believe I have the nose for style. Not naman like I can run my stlista instincts sa Project Runaway no! I mean just for the sake of kaartehan, I know I can jazz up a look. Hehehe.

With my innate body type that I had to work on, plus circumstances present, I'd probably look really fab on jumpsuits. Creating the illusion of an elongated and proportioned body type is what I really love about it. See I'm so dead frustrated about how my upper torso is longer than my lower torso, and how troso-looking my legs look! Got to conceal them great!

Aww, there's probably too much frustration right now, these items can possibly be my best uplifter. Hahaha!

So I was thinking of going vintage here like how I'm such a fan of polka dots! I love the ruffles via the neckline and the cutesy detail of the belt a little higher than the waist! See, that's a check right there to hide a flaw! Giving a much needed emphasis on the now-elongated lower torso! :)

Working on the same polka dotted theme, this piece from Mango will be such a great grab! Technically the same cut, highlighting on the empress-laden division which the belt created, this'll be magic! :) Hahaha! So there goes the boots, creating a totally different impact on the outfit.

So that would probably do the trick for me since I had to work on what's already there.

Creativity will definitely ice the cake!

Extra Baggage

And by that I didn't mean emotional issues.

Because I despise having one. Who wants to have either! But by that I meant bags! Uber stylish bags my eyes went feasting.

So I was told, well, through Mama's strict observation, of how my bags seem to always appear as if I am stowing away. That is, by them being relatively huge.

I just want everything I need to fit in, maybe that's why. See, my kikay kit, wallet, perfume, toothbrush & toothpaste, flash drive, my journal, charger, phone, hair brush and just about anything that could probably fit in, I'd tag along with me. You see, I'm some kind of always on the go, I'd always be ready come what may!

Even Zachary's stuff I can put in my bag! Diapers, milk bottles, that's 3 of it, with 8 oz water,mind you.

Maybe that's why, it's a little worn out now, I need to get a new one.

So I was listening to The Riot, Louie D and Cerah happened to play her song Like a Star. Poof! I was feeling jazzy-sexy!

Amidst three pm scorching heat. Yaw. Kinda odd mix, I know.

It's just so amazing Corrine Bailey Rae sounds. Her voice, sultry-sultry! Makes me really want to sound like her.

Makes me want to hold onto my own mic and sing my heart out, like some soulful lounge singer. Aww.

This 2007 Grammy nominated song of the year seems quite tickly sweet to me. When you're feeling cuddly-touchy-cozy. Yesss, that kind of mood. I ought it'll sound just about the same for you.

Maybe that's why it spent 71 weeks in the US Billboard 200 . Mind you, that's from 2006-2008, peaked at the number 4 spot. Like a Star also debuted number one in the UK in 2006.

This song's also been part of several series, Grey's Anatomy and Criminal Minds to name a few, proving it's unshaken popularity.

Corrine Bailey Rae's follow up single Put Your Records On, her biggest hit to date also found itself in the UK charts at number two.

In the 2012 Grammy Awards, she won Best R&B performance for the song Is This Love, a Bob Marley classic.

And yes, in a few more months, we're moving to the new house! The idea itself brings about gazillions of happiness and excitement.

Well, yeah, our first year of marriage was quite magulo, like to-and-fro kind of thing, the idea, I dislike a lot. But like hopeful lamentations, our haven is a construction in progress like the family we ought to be building, me, Jef and Zachary, and future adorable kiddos, too. Lovely.

Like how excited Jef and I really get every time we doodle of our house's interior designs, no matter how blurry it all seemed, it's real fun!

But I suppose, these real pictures will quite explain what I am hoping for our house to look like.

At the end of the day, what's important is being with your family, in a single bed, cozy and sweet!

 And there goes my imagination, this post suddenly gave me good vibes to start this afternoon.

Truly, it will take a lot of me and Jef, and Zachary too to come up with an interior design close to those, like how it will still take us to be the most awesome family there is!

But don't ya worry, everything is a work in progress.

We won't stop working on it.
